Email us your domain request
If you need to place a back-order, check a release window or ask about a name you are watching, email domains@dropcatcher.co.za with the domain name, your preferred timing and any related brands or keywords. The more detail you include, the easier it is for us to match the right monitoring and acquisition approach.
We reply during business hours and usually come back within the same working day. For time sensitive releases we prioritise urgent messages first, especially where a domain is due to expire soon or a transfer deadline is near.
What to include in your message
To save time, please include a short note with the following:
- The exact domain name you want monitored or recovered
- Whether you need expiry monitoring, backorder placement or renewal reminders
- Your company name and the best email contact for replies
- Any deadline, launch date or campaign timing
We work with startups, established firms and individual registrants who need straightforward guidance without guesswork.
Areas we serve across the Cape
Our base is in Claremont, Cape Town, and we assist clients across the city and the surrounding Winelands through email support. That includes Cape Town, Claremont, Bellville, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Somerset West. Whether you are in an office park, working from home or managing a portfolio from another province, you can still send your request directly to us.
We also support SA registrants who need remote monitoring from anywhere in the country, including businesses dealing with expiring names, renewals and brand protection lists.
When to contact us for urgent monitoring
Email us as soon as you see a name that matters to your business. Good timing helps with release window tracking and gives us room to review the name before it drops. If you are managing more than one domain, send the full list and we can help sort priorities.
- Names linked to a product launch or seasonal campaign
- Domains that are close to expiry
- Brand variants that need watchlist coverage
- Existing portfolios that need a quick audit
Support for acquisition and transfer steps
If you need help after a successful catch or back-order, we can assist with transfer support, reporting and follow up steps. Clients often ask us to confirm the next action, who should receive the domain, and how the process should be handled to avoid delays.
We keep the wording plain and the next step clear. That is useful when the clock is tight and there is not much room for back and forth.
Response times and follow up
Most emails receive a response within a few hours during the working day, and complex requests are usually handled within 24 hours. If a release is due soon, mark the subject line clearly so it is easier for us to triage the message. For general questions, you can still expect a prompt reply and practical next steps.
Send your message to domains@dropcatcher.co.za and we will take it from there.
